Dr. Hannah Aura Shoval, MD, MBA

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Hannah Aura Shoval, MD, MBA, is a physician-executive whose career sits at the intersection of rehabilitation medicine, health equity, and technology-driven access. She is the founder and CEO of Let's Move US, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to connecting people with disabilities to adaptive sports and recreation programs nationwide.

As Chief of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at Atlantic Health, Dr. Shoval leads multidisciplinary teams to diagnose complex conditions and develop treatment plans that are integrated with each family's goals and community. Working alongside families, she sees firsthand how transformative adaptive sports and recreation are, but how nearly impossible they are to find, even for seasoned social workers and national advocates.

In 2026, she completed her MBA from Rutgers and founded Let's Move US to address it. Drawing on her board certification in Clinical Informatics and expertise in AI-driven solutions, she is building a technology platform that uses artificial intelligence to match individuals to programs based on their specific disability, activity interests, age, and location — making what was once an exhausting, fragmented search into a seamless experience.

Dr. Shoval brings over a decade of research and national leadership in disability medicine, including multiple publications, book chapters, and invited national and international lectures. She has served on the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine's prestigious national research committee and previously chaired its national Adaptive Sports and Recreation Committee, building deep networks with advocates and clinicians who share her mission.

Her broader leadership extends to the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization (ACO), where she serves as a voting board member, and to Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she is a clinical associate professor recognized for her contributions to quality improvement education. She also serves as the health equity medical advisor for the Rutgers Institute for Corporate Social Innovation, an organization that advises businesses on innovative ways to create measurable social impact while strengthening their bottom line. Recent initiatives include food insecurity and maternal health.

We are building more than a platform. When people have access to sports and recreation, they have a community; they don't just get healthier. They graduate. They get hired. They get promoted. We are moving people forward.
